North County Coastal
San Diego’s North County Coastal region is one of the most
beautiful areas in Southern California. Sun and sea worshippers
congregate in coastal La Jolla, Del Mar, and Solana Beach, where
migrating California gray whales can be seen in winter. Along with
its ideal climate, the housing opportunities in North County Coastal are vast and varied – ranging from condominiums and townhomes to elegant oceanfront estates -
and everything in between.
Attractions in the North County Coastal area include the Stephen
Birch Aquarium-Museum at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography
in La Jolla. The stunning Torrey Pines State Reserve and Beach
is a nature lovers dream, and the Torrey Pines Golf Course is
a picturesque public course overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Visit
the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club for horse racing. Horticulturists
delight in the flowers of Encinitas and Leucadia and the 3,000
species at the Quail Botanical Gardens. In Carlsbad, see the
mineral springs and quaint seaside downtown area, or play on
the excellent golf
courses. Here are some handy links you can use to find additional information
